This
piece is truly one of a kind featuring both cast iron and steel that has
been colored with chemical patina. No paint has been used.
The barn wood was once a home near Lone Camp Texas. I believe that
the home was built in the early 1900's and has been abandoned for many
years. Age was kind to the wood and provided the perfect blend of
texture and color for the shelving. No Western piece would be
complete without stars so I designed and cut ample stars to form the
rails and eye catching center. this piece represents and contains
a portion of Texas history. It has been sealed with a clear
lacquer that will protect the wood and metal from spills or
stains. I hope that you have a suitable place for this bakers rack
in your
kitchen.
